Part SixI loved my children very much. I often wondered how in the world they got along. They were all so different, but they always treated each other like siblings. Even better than that on some days. True, it got lonely when I first built the house and I had no one to live with since the time of my late husband, but then Morgan and Marylin found me and Tristan and Robert meandered in sometime later, and I couldnt not help them. They were different, like myself, in a world full of hate for anyone outside of normal. I gave them sanctuary and became the mother that few of them ever had. She pressed a lump of soap in my only free hand. Now eat your breakfast, and then its off to the river with you. With me? Arent you forgetting that you have to come as well? Oh, yeah. I put the soap in my apron pocket and saPart Four

Part ThreeWhatcha writing? Morgan asked, peeking over my shoulder at the paper in the typewriter. Oh, just ancient history. And what do you know about ancient history? Marylin chimed in. Well, would you like to explain part of yours? No. Marylin retorted automatically. People know enough already. I disagree. I think that someone should know. Thats better than them thinking were monsters. Id actually like telling someone to know our story, Marylin. Dont you think? Morgan asked. You can doPart Three
